đź“Ą Export Viewtracker Data

You can create a CSV of the numbers from the current filter or the selected date range in the built-in Viewtracker reports. The metrics depend on which report you are accessing.
This page gives a quick overview of how to access the CSV export of each report.

Global Report

Global Content Report

You can export the Views, Edits and Creates via the “More” option in the report menu.

Apps → Viewtracker Global Report → Export → Views/Edits/Creations

Space Report

The export is available for page views, edits and creations.

Space → Space Report → Export → Views/Edits/Creations

Content Report

The export is available for the following metrics:

  • Views (export of the views for the selected date range)

  • Edits (export the page edits for the selected date range)

  • Attachments (export of the attachments views for the selected date range)

Use the “Export” option in the overlay and choose the metric.

Content & Usage Report

For the Content & Usage Report: Content:

You can export numbers of the Content Usage Report as a CSV file.

All numbers in the export refer to the selected filter and date range (last 30 days by default).

Here’s how to export:

  • main table: tap the “Export” button next to the date range and confirm the amount of data.

  • “All metrics” summary: tap the “Export” button in the overlay.

  • “Viewers”: tap the “Export” button in the overlay.

  • “Contributors”: tap the “Export” button in the overlay.

The CSV contains the aggregated data from the report, including the following:

  • main table: Content Name, Space Key, Views, Viewers, Contributors, Last Viewed, Last Modified. The entries are sorted alphabetically by “Content Name”.

  • “all metrics” summary: Number of content, Views of active content, Views of deleted content, Total views, Viewers, Contributors, New content, Edits, Deleted content, Comments.

  • “Viewers”: Account Id, Last Viewed, Times Viewed.

  • “Contributors”: Account Id, Last Edited, Times Edited.

Attachment Report

You can export the numbers of the Attachments Report as a CSV file in the Global and Space Report.

All numbers in the export refer to the selected filter and date range (last 30 days by default).

Here’s how to export:

1. Go to Apps → Viewtracker - Global Report → Menu “Attachments” → Export → choose individual or aggregated views

2. Confirm the amount of data.

Individual views:

This exported CSV file will include every single attachment view with the following information:

Account Id, Content Id, Content Title, Content Type, Space Key, Date, Unix Date.

 

Aggregated views:

This exported CSV will include the aggregated view events as displayed in the Attachment Report and will include the following information:

  • Attachment Name

  • Space Name

  • Views

  • File Size (in byte)

  • Viewers

Search Report

Confluence Settings → Viewtracker Global Report → Menu “Search” → Export → choose individual or aggregated searches

Individual searches:

This exported CSV file of the search report will include every single search event with the following information:

  • Search ID

  • Search Term

  • Date

  • Unix Date

  • Account Id

  • Number of results

 

Aggregated search terms:

This exported CSV will include the aggregated searches (as displayed in the Search Report) and will include the following information:

  • Search Term

  • Number of Results

  • Number of Searches
